About Me

FOUNDING PARTNER

Diana Bronnberg, Esq. is a Founding Partner of Bronnberg & Henriquez PC and a respected New York attorney specializing in Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability. She has practiced in this field since February 2001 and personally represents injured workers before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board and the Social Security Administration. Diana is known as a compassionate yet formidable advocate — empathetic and patient with her clients, and confident, strategic, and firm in the courtroom. She protects injured workers from unfair treatment by employers and insurance carriers, negotiates meaningful settlements, and prioritizes client education so individuals and families can make informed decisions during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

HER JOURNEY

Born in Minsk in the former Soviet Union, Diana immigrated to the United States in 1980 and grew up in New York. She was the first in her family to attend college, graduating with honors from SUNY Stony Brook with studies in History and Russian Language and Literature. She later earned her law degree from New York Law School. Diana’s early life shaped her deep commitment to advocating for immigrant and underserved workers. Witnessing her parents’ struggle with language barriers, medical bills, and complex paperwork inspired her to become a trusted voice for clients who need strong guidance and protection. She also understands firsthand how devastating an unexpected injury or accident can be for hardworking families.

A PERSONAL UNDERSTANDING

Her dedication to representing working people is also deeply influenced by her family’s union roots. With a father who worked in a union, Diana developed a strong appreciation for labor protections, worker benefits, and collective rights. Throughout her career, she has represented union workers across New York, including Verizon employees, CSEA members, City workers, police officers, teachers, sanitation workers, healthcare workers, home health aides, and other labor and trade professionals. Her early legal career included work at major New York firms on both defense and claimant-side litigation, giving her a broad understanding of how large institutions operate. Over time, she recognized that smaller, client-focused firms offer greater accountability, care, and impact — a philosophy that guided her decision to build a practice centered on access, responsiveness, and results.

THE MORE YOU KNOW

In 2013, Diana partnered with Nicole Henriquez, a pivotal moment that led to the creation of Bronnberg & Henriquez PC. Together, they built a women-led firm grounded in vision, resilience, and excellence. Their shared belief is that leadership can be both strong and compassionate, and that a firm does not need to be large to be powerful. They proudly embrace the identity of being small but mighty — delivering high-level advocacy, meaningful client relationships, and results that rival much larger firms. Diana previously served as President of the Workers’ Compensation Bar Association, reflecting her leadership within the legal community and her commitment to advancing the rights of injured workers statewide.

Beyond her legal practice, Diana is a devoted mother of three who values family, travel, music, and meaningful connection. She is deeply committed to self-development and enlightenment, continually investing in personal and professional growth so she can lead with clarity, purpose, and impact — both in her firm and in her life.
